Ron is a veteran employee of Greyhound Lines. He has been a driver out of Cleveland since 1974. Ron worked the extraboard for many years before being awarded his first regular run, so he understands the concerns and needs of all Greyhound employees. Ron played major roles defending the union in the bitter Greyhound strikes of 1983 and 1990, when the company was hell-bent on destroying our union. He witnessed first hand the hardships and sacrifices endured by Greyhound workers to defend their jobs and their union. And he worked with labor and community organizations that supported those struggles. He understands the meaning of the words unity and solidarity.
