We've been hard at work getting ready for this fall with a couple of new features and sections of the website. First and foremost I'd like to direct your attention to the new photo gallery in Region 4 created by VP Karen Miller. Karen has been busy uploading photos of the membership that she has taken throughout her travels around Region 4. We've also created a couple of additional galleries for photos of Retirees in her region along with some special events such as the ATU International Womens Caucus. Also, I've been hard at work checking out which of our Stewards are online and members of the website. So far we've got Region's 5, 4 and 3 taken care of. All of the stewards in those sections have been added and are granted Stewards privlages to the site. This allows access to all of the user features of the site such as contract and grievance form downloads and an ability to participate in the forums. As we get closer to contract negotioations (right around the corner!!) we will be contacting Stewards via email to help us to mobilize our members and get our message out. Also, we will be utilizing SMS text messaging to rapidly inform you of contract changes.
