Sesil began driving for Greyhound in Washington, DC in 1987. He has been an active Union member for 40 years. He was active in Local 1098 and ran for Vice-President. After the strike, he was active in this Local and became a shop steward. Also, Sesil has been a driver instructor. When the Local needed a Financial Secretary/Treasurer, Sesil stepped up and became acting FST in August, 2006. He was part of the pro-active Executive Board that delivered a respectable contract, improved By-Laws, and restored Union pride and respect.
