On occasion, you may find that promoting a story to the front page results in a formatting problem - for example, one column may get "folded" into another, or the font characteristics (size, color, style) may be incorrect.
This can be a result of a "teaser" for the story that has been cut off at the wrong point. To correct this, edit the story with rich text disabled, and insert "<!--break-->" (without the quotes) at the very end. This will result in the entire story being displayed on the front page. You can experiment with where to insert <!--break--> to include the text you want without affecting the front page formatting.
